Sermon 28 June 2020

· Jesus is saying that you get what you see.

· To get the prophecy you must see the prophet.

· To get the righteousness you must see the righteous.

· We control what we get.

· Paul talks more about sin.

· To not let sin rule our thoughts.

· To not offer our body to our sinful thoughts.

· To instead offer them to God.

· Through Jesus’ death we are moved by grace not law.

· Paul uses a social understanding to explain his point.

· In this case it is slavery.

· There are two masters sin and God.

· Obedience to sin leads to a death.

· Obedience to God brings life.

· We control what we get.
