Service Descriptions

St Colomb’s, at Clayfield

23 Victoria St, Clayfield, Brisbane, Queensland 4011 Australia.
The Church building is 119 years old, and seats approximately 250 people. A Memorial Cross to those who died in the wars stands strategically in the grounds. We have a new Ministry Centre to further enrich our Parish plant. This centre can cater for 120 people at a reception or convention.

View of the Sanctuary which was the old eastern end, but placed at the western end, and a brick extension was added to the church to create this new sanctuary.
The old sanctuary, which was put at the Western end when the church was moved from Collins Road, and turned into a Baptistery. It is also the entry point from Victoria Street.

Eucharist Service: Wednesdays at 10am and Sundays 7am. It is a traditional middle of the road service.

Family Service: First Sunday of the month at 4pm. Unique service aimed at helping children to understand the traditional service in a child friendly environment. Children’s songs with actions, Children’s sermons, and liturgy in kid’s language.

St John’s, at Hendra

12 Burilda Street, Hendra, Brisbane, Queensland 4011 Australia.

The Church building is 58 years old and seats approximately 100 people. It is a pleasant blend of modern with traditional architecture—a great setting for marriages. There is also a Parish Hall (available for functions and community use) adjacent to the Church.

Eucharist Service: Thursdays at 10am, Saturday at 6pm and Sundays 9am. It is a traditional middle of the road service.
