Today we see Jesus healing the sick around him and teaching the disciples about those who are blessed – the poor, the hungry, the sorrowful, the reviled – and those for whom woe waits – the rich, those who are filled, those who laugh and those who are spoken well of. What this means is that God’s mission is to those on the margins of society, and that is where the Church is called to minister.
Pray that we might be able to go to the margins of society where God’s Spirit is at work.
Give thanks for the work of the Al-Ahli Arab hospital’s child nutrition project, which aims to help babies and toddlers thrive.
