Our New Testament readings today encourage us to persevere in faithfulness to Jesus despite any suffering because of opposition, which can come even from family members.
Jesus also urges us to ‘judge…..what is right’ and make our peace with God now rather than suffering the penalty of God’s judgment (which the people of Judah were also warned about in the 1st Reading).
Give thanks for those whose actions have been inspired by their faith, and pray for God’s ‘power’ to follow their example.
Give thanks for the work and witness of the Episcopal Church in the Philippines .
